Offer Them Christ
John Wesley is best known for his passion to bring the good news to the lost of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. For 50 years Wesley preached 42,000 sermons of hope and promise across the New England countryside. But he did not stop there. Americans are the recipients of his evangelistic outreach too.

In the late 18th century Wesley sent men of faith and passion to America to broaden and strengthen the Methodism that was taking shape. “Offer Them Christ” was Wesley’s charge to them.

The 7-foot bronze sculpture was designed a produced by Master Sculptor Scott Stearman of Colorado Springs, Colo. Stearman also produced the bust of Wesley which located in IWU’s historic John Wesley Administration Building.

The statue was funded by Professors Wilbur and Ardelia Williams.
