Conference Services

Located near the intersection of I-77 and I-480, IWU’s Cleveland (Independence) Education and Conference Center holds classes on weeknights and Saturdays. This 40,000-square-foot facility also serves as a comfortable conference center for area businesses and organizations that want to reserve space for workshops, conferences, meetings, and other activities.

This is not your typical sterile, cinder-block, tiled-floor college classroom building. Our first-class facility includes all the amenities of a modern commercial office building. Conference guests will find the classrooms, study areas, hallways, and break areas beautifully decorated, carpeted, and extremely comfortable and inviting for an afternoon workshop or week-long training session.

The mostly curtainwall glass building has a 23’ tall lobby that is open to the second floor balcony. There are 17 state-of-the-art classrooms, study rooms (suitable for 6–8 people each), an executive board room (for 10–12 people), a computer lab, lounge areas, and a large conference room (accomodates up to 120 people seated theatre-style).

All of the technology used in our facility, including teleconferencing and Internet service, is available for your group’s convenience, along with access to onsite vending and area caterers.
