President’s Home
This elegant but modest classical Georgian-style house on the east side of campus serves as the residence for IWU’s President and his family. Several events are held at the President’s home throughout the year including picnics in the spring and bonfires after a rousing Homecoming parade or just an afternoon watching a football game with students. President Henry Smith and his wife, Teresa, enjoying keeping a constant pulse on the campus, and the close proximity of their home allows for even greater interaction with its faculty, staff and students.
DIRECTIONS
The President’s Home is located on University Boulevard, just inside IWU’s east entrance. From SR-15 (South Adams Street), enter IWU’s campus at the main east entrance on University Boulevard (just north of South 45th Street.) At the "T" intersection 100 yards ahead, turn left (south) and then immediately left again (east) onto the private drive.
