Interests

Presently, Dr. Steenbergh is working with a team of faculty and students to understand the psychological effects of gratitude practices.  They are using the iHabit™ ecological momentary assessment (EMA) iPhone app to prompt the regular practice of gratitude and gather data on its effects.  Dr. Steenbergh’s other research interests include:

  • Gambling and other Addictive Behaviors
  • Positive Psychology and Spiritual Formation
  • Change-focused Assessment
  • Medical Education
