Keith Starcher; MBA, PhD Associate Professor, SBL keith.starcher@indwes.edu


Keith has more than 30 years of business experience. After graduating with a degree in Metallurgy from Penn State, he continued his graduate studies at the University of South Florida obtaining both an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. Dr. Starcher spent several years with General Electric and was president of Zion Industries, an induction heat-treating firm with plants in Ohio, Michigan, and North Carolina. Keith and his wife, Margaret, have raised four children and enjoy spending time with their six grandchildren.

Keith is interested in the scholarship of teaching and learning; in particular, how SoTL applies to the discipline of marketing. He is also interested in discovering the best ways to enhance the teaching and learning of business statistics in different delivery modalities (onsite versus online). Lastly, his interests include discovery and application of those skills and traits that lead to long-term executive success.
