Faculty

The Chemistry faculty at IWU have diverse backgrounds, coming with industrial, government, and even seminary experience. The many years of experience represented by the faculty listed below offer students a variety of viewpoints on how chemistry can be used and why chemistry is important. Active research projects involve everything from the discovery of new antimalarial drugs to development of fiber optics to environmental and forensic chemistry. Research is optional for those earning an A.B., but gives these students an opportunity to become involved in at least one of the projects for a part of the time they are at IWU.
