Special Programs

Upward Bound

The Upward Bound program is a program for area high school students to help them see college in their future. The program offers free tutoring for these students, as well as the opportunity to complete college coursework while in high school.

Ministry Teams

Each year IWU recruits, trains and sends out a wide variety of ministry and drama teams to minister at churches, Christian schools, youth activities, summer camps and special events. This is an opportunity both to serve and earn a paycheck.

ROTC

The ROTC program at Indiana Wesleyan is a U.S. Army-affiliated program that teaches leadership skills through both class experiences and field experiences. ROTC prepares students to enter the Army as a Second-Lieutenant after graduation. There is financial assistance available for ROTC students.

Outdoor Wilderness Learning

This is an outdoor-oriented program in Ontario, Canada, that focuses on the pursuit of wisdom, the practice of leadership, and the exploration of outdoor living skills. It enables students to appreciate God’s wilderness firsthand as a part of the Recreation Management major or as an elective class.
