  • Scripture Hall seeks to be a residential learning community, founded in Christ, that challenges and supports residents to grow together in their pursuit of whole-person maturity as Christian men so that they may identify and understand their strengths and God’s purpose for their lives.

  • Scripture Hall is the only four-story male residence hall on campus, home to about 250 men each year. Scripture Hall is primarily composed of sophomores and juniors who are making the transition from the freshman experience into upper-division living while still engaging in community.

    Scripture Hall has adopted theme housing with programming that will vary by floor. Programming themes for the year will include living and learning together; art, music and media; local and global outreach; and healthy living.

    Although originally from the Pacific Northwest, my wife and I settled into Scripture Hall in 2012. Having previously worked in college student success, missions, and youth ministry, I’m thrilled to serve here as Resident Director. It’s a huge honor to have the opportunity to guide and serve the young men of this community during such a transformational time of life.

  • Located at the center of IWU's campus — less than a five-minute walk to any classroom — is Scripture Hall. The largest residence hall on campus, it was built in 2001 and houses men, mostly upperclassmen. This innovative four-story structure was designed to foster community among students, boasting clusters of rooms and shared living areas.

  • In recent years, Scripture Hall has done outreach at Westminster, YMCA, and Colonial Oaks Long Term Care Facility.
