As Toolbox author, Garner keeps his finger on the pulse of the millennials.

As one who carries the title “assistant dean for teaching and learning,” Dr. Brad Garner knows teachers need the proper tools in the classroom. So every other month he provides educators world-wide with a Toolbox.

Toolbox is an online professional development newsletter that outlines innovative and inventive teaching techniques that help professors connect with the minds of millennial students. Garner is the sole author and sole contributor to the publication that had its beginnings on the IWU campus.

Conference handout becomes global e-letter

For Garner, the success of his circular was nothing short of a surprise.

“It really started as a quick and dirty newsletter that was meant to serve the Indiana Wesleyan community,” says Garner. “I had no idea that it would eventually lead to its current form, but I’m incredibly thankful that I can represent IWU in this capacity.” full story
