Welcome to office of Planned Giving
What is “planned giving”?
A planned gift is any gift that requires additional thought, beyond simply writing a check.
IWU’s director of planned giving is a trained professional planner. The director is able to work with the donor’s attorney, accountant or financial advisor to help structure gifts that will benefit both the donor and IWU. This may involve assistance with wills and estate planning.
Why give to IWU?
Indiana Wesleyan University is a Christ-centered academic community committed to changing the world by developing students in character, scholarship and leadership. We want our students to make a difference by becoming a transforming force in their world. We believe that biblical principles and a Christ-centered education form the foundation for all learning.
At Indiana Wesleyan University we believe that God does not desire His children to perpetuate the cultural status quo. We believe that God has called IWU to equip our students to confront the tide of moral decline by being instruments for positive change wherever their vocation calls them.
If you are interested in helping us instill these principles into IWU students, contact the director of planned giving. The planned giving staff will gladly help you develop a legacy that lasts forever through your estate and giving plans.
