Call for Proposals

Join us for a two-day interdisciplinary event where academic practitioners, both current and aspiring, gather to present, discover, and discuss new methods and best practices of teaching.

Proposals for presentations, panel discussions, and lightning sessions are welcome. The review panel for each discipline area will give special consideration to proposals that focus on collaborative research or practices.

Proposal Selection Process and Due Dates

A discipline-specific review panel will utilize a selection process in making its decisions. All proposals must be submitted on or before January 23, 2012.

Proposals will be reviewed using the following criteria, in priority order: innovative research study or methods; effective classroom technique(s); interdisciplinary nature of research/work/teaching; ability to contribute to the body of knowledge in a discipline, further a sense of belonging among the larger academic community, or initiate a conversation of significance to the academy.

All presenters must register for the conference.

Those who are selected to present, serve on a panel discussion, or conduct a lightning session will be notified via e-mail of the review panel's decision no later than February 13, 2012.
