Phillippe Performing Arts Center
With the tap of the conductor’s baton or the opening of a curtain, a special presentation is about to begin. From there, the music swirling toward the hundreds of twinkling lights overhead or the dramatic performance of an actor will cause you to suspend belief — if only for a second. The Phillippe Performing Arts Center (PPAC) is the hub of IWU’s music and performance scene. Complete with a large auditorium, a recital hall, practice rooms, classrooms and the Black Box Theatre, this facility offers 73,000 square feet of space devoted to learning, practicing and performing. Whether it's concerts, recitals, performances or lectures, you’ll find no shortage of emotional expression in this facility.
