Whether the words and images are in print, online, broadcast or performed between individuals or groups, communication is at the core of Elder Hall. Housing the Division of Communication and Theatre, the Division of Modern Language and Literature, and the Division of Behavioral Sciences, this three-story digital facility features studios, control rooms and editing suites, local television and radio stations, newsroom and production space for the University online and print newspaper, and theater performance laboratory and classroom spaces. Also included are 20 classrooms and seminar rooms equipped with digital media capabilities, more than 50 faculty and staff offices, two lecture halls, and two Mac-equipped computer labs.
Elder Hall is located along the north side of IWU’s campus.
From the intersection of 38th and Washington Streets, travel south one block and turn east (left) into the parking lot, which is on the north side of the building.
Visitors, commuter students and employees have prime parking located on the north side of Elder Hall.
