Institutional Research
“But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” — John 3:21 NIV
The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) gathers and analyzes data about Indiana Wesleyan University and shares the results with interested parties both internal and external. External agencies that receive our data include federal and state governments; organizations of our institutional peers, such as the Independent Colleges of Indiana and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities; and publishers such as U.S. News & World Report.
The primary goal of our efforts is the support of decision making throughout the IWU community, from the University president establishing institutional strategic priorities to the high school student choosing which college to attend. Accurate, timely and relevant data allow us to make the best decisions — these are the data we strive to provide.
