traffic for Headquarters, Pacific Fleet and inport ships and shore

and civilian personnel in a 24-hour, 7-day center operating a
mainframe computer communications node.

Department Head responsible for 80 crewmen conducting all aspects
of shipboard operational planning, scheduling, command and control
functions, and shipwide training system. Later, Department Head
for 130 personnel responsible for all aspects of ship's
engineering systems during decommissioning and layup of equipment
for storage.

ANTRIM [FFG 20], Mayport, Florida
- September 1983 - June 1985.
Division Officer responsible for 20 crewmen conducting shipboard
command and control, weapon systems control, preservation of
national security material, shipwide training. Filled interim
period in absence of superior as Department Head for 90-man team
covering all aspects of weapons, sensors, and communications
electronics operation and upkeep.
