... let me introduce myself.
I am an Associate Professor of Computer & Information Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University. This is me as seen in a recent college annual.
In some way, yes a personal home page is a bit of an exercise in ego-centrism. However, I view this as a learning experience. Even if you don't learn
anything about me, I will have learned just from the work of creating this home page.
This site is forever under construction. At present, I'm busy removing some of the
larger files to comply with local total disk space requirements. If you find something that won't load (especially graphics) you can
me if you really want to see them, and I'll send the missing picture(s) to you.

We hail originally from Florida; my wife from Orlando and I from Pompano Beach, Florida. 1980 was our first big year, as we graduated from Florida Southern College together, I joined the Navy, and we were married, all in the same year.
Our life together has taken us to Rhode Island , Florida, Virginia, California, Hawaii, Japan and Ontario, all in the service of the United States Navy. I've gotta say it: Hawaii was my favorite. During that time, I went to sea on four different ships, from minesweepers to amphibious assault ships, and she spent a few nights at home alone wondering where I'd gotten to.
1990 was our next really big year, since two of our daughters were born that year. From Hawaii we went country hopping, moving to Japan for a year and then to Canada for three years. It was while we were yet new to the north country that God blessed us again with another daughter.
Where have we gotten to?
Finally retiring from the Navy in 1997, we settled in beautiful middle America, becoming Hoosiers and enjoying the fertile plains of the midwest. No ocean here!
