Army Field Band to Perform at IWU

The United States Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus from Washington, D.C., will present a concert at 7:30 p.m., November 6, in the IWU Chapel Auditorium. To obtain free tickets, call the IWU Box Office at 765-677-2610. Tickets will be available in advance at the Box Office or at Will Call the night of the concert.

The 65 members of the Field Band are selected by competitive auditions and represent some or the best musical talent in America. The band was formed in 1946 and was joined by the chorus in 1957. The band travels thousands of miles each year and, since its founding, has appeared in all 50 states and more than 30 countries on four continents.
