MASTER OF EDUCATION – SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in School Administration program is offered in an online format and may also be offered at locations in Indiana. The program is designed for practicing classroom teachers who are seeking a higher education administration degree and who wish to earn their Indiana building-level school administrator license. Candidates will complete a 33-credit-hour Master's in education administration program, which aligns to the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) standards and the state of Indiana Department of Education’s (IDOE’s) building-level administrator standards. The school administration major satisfies Indiana’s required program of study for an Indiana building-level administrator’s license.

The accreditation covers initial and advanced educator preparation programs. CAEP is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation to accredit programs for the preparation of teachers and other professional school personnel.
