  • Requirements

    Admission Requirements

    1. Proof of high school graduation or GED certification.
    2. Original transcripts from all previous college or university studies at regionally accredited colleges or universities or at an institution accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
    3. Prior completion of at least 60 transferable credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university or from an institution accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education is required before starting the core program. A maximum of 40 credit hours may be earned through the assessed learning process toward the required 60.
    4. A minimum of two years of significant full-time work experience or life experience beyond high school. Life experience can include nontraditional definitions of work experience and must be specifically documented in writing in order to be considered.
     

    Graduation Requirements

    1. Completion of 124 credit hours.
    2. Completion of the required core courses with a GPA of 2.25 or higher.
    3. Overall cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
    4. Included within the total of 124 credit hours, 30 credit hours in Liberal Arts as follows:
      • 3 credit hours in Biblical Literature.
      • 3 credit hours in Philosophy/Religion.
      • 9 credit hours in English/Composition/Speech/Literature.
      • 6 credit hours in Social Sciences.
      • 3 credit hours in Math.
      • 3 credit hours in Science.
      • 3 credit hours in Fine Arts/Foreign Language.
    5. Included within the total of 124 credit hours, 20 credit hours in a concentration, with at least a 2.25 GPA. At least nine of the 20 credit hours must be completed at IWU.
    6. Included within the total of 124 credit hours, at least two credit hours in required electives: Introductory Seminar (UNV-111 or ADM-201) and General Studies Colloquium (UNV-401).
    7. Payment of all tuition and fees.
