I wanted to major in art, but from a Christian perspective. IWU is one of the few places that offer this opportunity. I know that God can use me in a field that often doesn't see his light and truth, even though I am not sure of his specific plans for my future.
As a student, I have been invested in and encouraged by my professors; I really appreciate the way they care. They have set the example for the kind of artist and person I hope to be someday. Life is a gift, and I want to make the
most of it. IWU has played a big part in helping me begin to do exactly that.
I have grown spiritually at IWU because of the ways I have seen others living for Jesus. Chapel has also been a great time for reflection and a time to be challenged. I am grateful for every way I have been blessed while at IWU. I love spending time with friends, doing art projects or baking cookies.
The relationships I've formed at IWU will last for a lifetime.
