Why did you choose IWU?

I chose IWU because the second I walked onto campus I felt God's presence. I loved how much of a community IWU has.

What is the most significant thing that has happened in your life as a result of being a student at IWU?

My relationship with God has become my own. It's not my parents or others from home. I've learned more of how I want to see my relationship with God. I've grown spiritually more here at IWU than anywhere else.

What do you want high school students to know about IWU?

God is working here. He is in every building, class, person. IWU provides SO many different opportunities for you in every aspect. You just need to take those opportunities & run with them.

What are your career plans?

Teach English in Africa (or anywhere else abroad) then come back to the U.S. and work in a public school teaching english as a second language.

How is IWU helping to assist you in getting there?

By putting me in classes that teach how to be the best possible educator.
