During my search for a school to attend, I looked at many different Christian universities. I felt that IWU was the place where I would not only fit in, but would be able to excel academically and spiritually. I am a junior here now, and this has proven true.
My major is Math Education, but it's more than just a discipline—it's an act of worship to God. At IWU, a student's spiritual life is blended into every other part of life.
I have grown spiritually here because professors, RAs, classmates, and chapel speakers all encourage and challenge us to keep our focus on God. It's incredible what happens on this campus because of that fact.
Consequently, my spiritual life has blossomed!
You can't go wrong in any major here. Every department is so well put together. Your education will be top-notch. I have really been challenged by my professors, and the learning experiences have been invaluable.
I love to have fun with my friends playing sports in the Recreation and Wellness Center, but there's a lot to IWU that you don't immediately see on the surface. The best thing that has happened to me here is living in a community centered on Christ. The friendships, the activities, the outreach—it's all a ton of fun!
