Why did you choose IWU?

IWU was never in my plans - too much family history - but I visited anway and the campus felt like home to me. No other school I looked at gave me that feeling.

What is the most significant thing that has happened in your life as a result of being a student at IWU?

Because of IWU my spiritual life has grown immensely. I truly believe I would not be who I am now if I didn't attend IWU.

What do you want high school students to know about IWU?

I hope high schoolers would know about IWU's community. No matter where you go, there is someone there who wants to get to know you and invest in your life.

What are your career plans?

I plan to teach elementary-age kids at a high risk/inner city school.

How is IWU helping to assist you in getting there?

The professors at IWU demonstrate that Christ-centered teaching means going where you can do the most good and love the most students. They've taught me to get out of my comfort zone and follow God's plan for my life.
