Why did you choose IWU?I loved the great community as well as the spiritual atmosphere here.
What is the most significant thing that has happened in your life as a result of being a student at IWU?A bunch of little things. Friends who keep me accountable, professors who have coffee with me when I'm struggling with different things in life, people I don't even know who sit down and pray for me are just a few examples.
What do you want high school students to know about IWU?IWU is a great place to live in a Christian community and develop friendships. The friends I have made here have really helped to mold me into who I am today and pushed me to become more like Christ.
What are your career plans?I plan to work in pediatric nursing for a year of two after college and then go on to become a pediatric nurse practictioner. I hope to someday get the chance to work with underprivileged kids.
How is IWU helping to assist you in getting there?The classes and labs are great for skills training and there is a constant emphasis on caring for all patients not only physically, but also emotionally and spiritually.
