Accreditation and Memberships
The programs of the Indiana Wesleyan University School of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). A successful reaccreditation visit was held in November 2009. Memberships are held in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF). Our nursing programs are fully accredited by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
Notice to Indiana Wesleyan University Nursing Constituency
We are pleased to announce that the Indiana Wesleyan University School of Nursing will host an accreditation review by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) of Indiana Wesleyan’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program between January 21-23, 2015. As a part of the process, CCNE provides the opportunity for constituents (alumni, employers, faculty, students, or other interested parties) of the program to submit their comments in writing related to the program’s qualification for accreditation status. Comments are welcome and are to be forwarded to CCNE until thirty days prior to the visit or by December 24, 2014.
