Biography

Dr. Todd W. Guy is the chairman of the Division of Music at Indiana Wesleyan University. He has had the privilege of teaching at IWU for 25 years. He considers it such a joy and pleasure to have worked with so many great students over the years. Along with chairing the division, he directs two choral ensembles: the University Chorale and “One Voice.” Both of these ensembles tour extensively throughout the United States singing at conventions, schools and churches. Every three years the Chorale takes an overseas tour. Past tours include trips to Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Austria, Germany and, in May 2010, Italy. During their tour in Italy, the Chorale was well received and was honored to perform in such prestigious venues as St. Mark's Basilica in Venice and St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

In addition to directing these ensembles, Dr. Guy also teaches conducting and choral techniques.

He did his advanced training at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he received a master’s degree in Choral Conducting and received his doctorate in Choral Conducting at Ball State University.
