Biography
Michael Trego is currently in his 38th year of working in the field of education. He spent 33 years in the P-12 setting and five years in higher education. He spent 20 years as an instrumental and vocal teacher in three states (Ohio, Michigan and Colorado) teaching everything from jazz, concert and marching band to kindergarten general music. He also was musical director for the Colorado State Fair. The last 13 years in public education were spent in educational administration (assistant principal, principal and superintendent).

Interests
Dr. Trego’s interests include the topics of leading change, poverty in education, ethical and moral leadership, transformational leadership, mentoring and coaching of leaders, and relational leadership.
