The faculty of the CIS department at IWU brings a wealth of experience to the classroom, both academic and professional. All three faculty members have PhDs in their respective fields. In addition to their years of academic experience, they also bring in practical experience from both business and the military. Their areas of specialization include machine hardware, software engineering and Internet program development. Overriding all of their knowledge is a deep and abiding faith, a faith that shows through in their classrooms and their lives.

Daniel Neumann; MA, PhD Asst Prof; Computer & Info Sciences daniel.neumann@indwes.edu


Dr. Neumann is a skilled instructor and expert consultant with over 25 years of experience in the development, installation, configuration and training aspects of high-end systems. He has a wide variety of hardware and software experience with a specialization in database and Web integration. Married for 33 years, Dan and his wife have ten children, seven of whom are adopted.
