    Welcome to the Division of Business at Indiana Wesleyan University. Our students receive an excellent education in a Christian environment that encourages the integration of faith and leadership in business. The programs the Division of Business delivers are infused with the application of ethics and values and are distinguished by an emphasis on applied learning.

    We seek to instill in our graduates the conviction that business can play a major role in shaping the character of our world. We are committed to the principle that for a person to be good in business, he or she must be both a highly competent person and a person of high moral character.

    Jake Lapp
    In March 2012, Jake Lapp began service as the director of finance in the General Treasurer's office of The Wesleyan Church. A 2006 IWU Accounting graduate, he previously served several years on the Indiana CPA Society’s Emerging Leaders Alliance.

    Kent Williams
    IWU Assistant Business Professor Kent Williams has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Indiana CPA Society. He previously served a three-year term as the chairman of the Society’s Professional Ethics Committee. He also participated in a video shoot providing CPAs around the state an overview of the role of the committee.
