Robert T. Townsend is an associate professor at Indiana Wesleyan University. He has 15 years of public and private school (P12) experience and nine years of university teaching experience.

Dr. Townsend's research interests are in the field of teacher education. Specifically, he is involved with teacher development and mentor/mentee relationships in teacher education programs. He is also intersted in cultural competency research for educators at all levels.
