IWU offers specific financial assistance for active-duty military students and their spouses, and for veteran students. For active-duty military personnel, we discount the cost of tuition for our adult and graduate programs that are offered through evening and Saturday instruction at regional Education Centers and many learning sites throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, as well as online. We extend the same discount to the spouses of active-duty personnel because we understand how military service is a family commitment. For our veterans, effective August 1, 2011, we are proud to be a full Yellow Ribbon Program participant for an unlimited number of students for enrollment on our main campus as well as all of our adult degree programs.
It is important for you to obtain, complete and submit the appropriate forms to utilize your military educational benefits. There are several steps involved in confirming your eligibility, so we encourage you to begin the process as early as possible, anticipating up to 12 weeks before your benefits will begin to flow.
